We aim to update the Site regularly, and may change the content at any time. If the need arises, we may suspend access to the Site, or close it indefinitely. Any of the material on the Site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material. 5. RANKER.LK ACCOUNT

• In order to access the features of the website or other elements of the website, the user has to create an account on Ranker.lk. When creating an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. It is vital that you must keep your account password and username confidential.
• You must immediately alert Ranker.lk of any breaches of security or unauthorized use of your TalentYou account that you become aware of.
• You agree that you will be fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your Ranker.lk account.

6. RANKER.LK ‘SISU SAVIYA’ SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

• • While we endeavor to keep the information on the website up to date and correct, it is important to bear in mind that details of the scholarship programme may change at any time, without notice. Always contact us directly for any queries.

Disclaimer for Sponsorship Applicants

• • Ranker.lk does not guarantee that all ‘Sisu Saviya’ programme applicants will receive scholarships. Some applicants may not receive scholarships in the event that the application has not met the selection criteria or due to the unavailability of scholarships.
  • By applying for the ‘Sisu Saviya’ scholarship scheme you agree that your personal information including your name, school, batch and stream of study will be provided to your sponsor/s.
  • By applying for the ‘Sisu Saviya’ scholarship scheme you agree that you may be contacted time to time by members of the Ranker.lk team for purposes such as gathering feedback.

Disclaimer for Sponsors

• Ranker.lk does not offer grants, prizes, awards, funds, certificates, or conduct lotteries. Anyone receiving notification to the contrary should suspect fraudulent activity, e.g., scams that operate through theft of our identity (e.g. false use of our brand name and logo). We will not be responsible for any loss of money, exposure of bank information, etc…, that may result from these scams.
• As a Sponsor you may request us to nominate students known to you, to receive scholarships. However, please note that we will consider this only on case by case basis and in certain instances we may not be able to comply with your request and instead your sponsorship will be allocated to eligible students on the Ranker ‘Sisu Saviya’ scholarship waiting list.
• By becoming a Sponsor you agree that you/your brand will be featured on the Ranker.lk platform as a Sponsor of the Ranker.lk scholarship scheme.
• Also note that you/your brand’s name and logo will be displayed on the dashboard of the student/s you sponsor.
• As a Sponsor you will be provided certain personal information of students that you sponsor including their name, school, batch and stream of study. However, please note that personal contact information of students such as phone number, email and postal address will not be provided to sponsors.

7. GENERAL RESTRICTIONS ON USE

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Site:

• in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation
• in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect
• for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way;
• to send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with our content standards
• to transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam)

You also agree:

• not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of the Site in contravention of the provisions of our terms of website use
• not to access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt ,any equipment or network on which the Site is stored, any software used in the provision of the Site , any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party.
• Also agreed not to collect or harvest any personal data of any user of the website or any service.

• Ranker.lk is constantly innovating and updating the services in order to provide the best experience for its users. You acknowledge and agree that the form and nature of the service which Ranker.lk provides may change from time to time without any prior notice.
• You agree that you will not upload any Content which it is unlawful for you to possess in the country in which you are resident, or which it would be unlawful for Ranker.lk to use or possess in connection with the provision of the Service.
• You further understand and acknowledge that in using the Service, you may be exposed to Content that is factually inaccurate, offensive, indecent, or otherwise objectionable to you. You agree to waive, and hereby do waive, any legal or equitable rights or remedies you have or may have against Ranker.lk with respect to any such Content.

Ranker.lk does not offer refunds as a regular procedure. As this is a paid online service providing access to a large pool of educational material accessible from the initial login, refunds will not be accommodated. However, in occasions where a user has a valid and genuine reason to request a refund, Ranker.lk will consider such requests on case-by-case basis and provide refunds as needed.
